I first really connected with Chevelle after a 2023 St. Louis show, and by the time I was invited to see them again in 2025, I knew I wanted to create a poster for their upcoming date. Their new album Blight as Blasphemy—especially the track “Karma Goddess”—sparked the vision of a goddess-like figure erupting with kinetic, shockwave-like energy as a metaphor for ignition and rebirth. The show was incredible, but the moment a fan ran back to high-five and hug me over the poster is what reminded me why I make this art in the first place.
