When I committed to diving into band posters, reconnecting with my old high school friend Shawn Morgan led to creating a full series for his band Papercut Massacre, inspired by their singles “Moments” and “Weight of the World.” Fueled by a renewed obsession with comic books and Todd McFarlane’s hyper-detailed style, I set out to design bold, cover-like imagery packed with energy and emotional weight. The series became my first full visual identity project for a band, blending friendship, music, and comic-inspired storytelling into one cohesive set.
