When I first started thinking about what the perfect concept for this poster could be, I kept coming back to "Claypool Gold." The second the words “Gold” and “Factory” connected in my head, it felt like the whole idea instantly clicked into place. Like it was always supposed to exist.
From there, I went completely full-force down the Wonkaville rabbit hole, candy-coated landscapes, twisted factory vibes, and a weird little world that felt like it could only belong to Primus. Printed in limited quantities and designed with collectors in mind.
Illustrated concert poster created by Jeremy Carrus for Primus, featuring a psychedelic candy-factory landscape inspired by classic storybook visuals. In the foreground, a grinning skeleton character in a purple suit and red top hat lounges on a candy-covered path. Behind him stands a whimsical factory with striped smokestacks, candy canes, giant lollipops, and colorful sweets scattered throughout the scene. A large sign reads “Primus at the Factory – St. Louis, MO,” with the show date “Saturday May 30th 2026” displayed in candy lettering on the ground. The artwork uses bold black linework, halftone textures, and vivid purple, gold, red, and blue colors in a retro psychedelic poster style.
